This past month has been just a bit hard on our family. Some how well all get through it. My (Uncle) Passed away on Saturday. I can't believe how many funerals we have been to this year, all people we know really well. We will miss you Jim.

James Melvin Laird
1961 ~ 2010
Beloved father, son and brother, James Melvin Laird, age 49, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
He was born January 2, 1961 in Payson, Utah to Kenneth Melvin and Jerrline Mary Mattson Laird.
He married Sue Ann Meldrum, August 18, 1984 in Spanish Fork, Utah. They were sealed in the Manti Temple, February 10, 1996. They were later divorced.
Jim graduated from Payson High School where he enjoyed wrestling. He enjoyed racing, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his kids.
Survivors include: his mother and step-father, Jerrline and John G. Anderson, Payson; children, Justin James (Katie), Shantel Leigh (Johnny), Jared Thomas Laird, all of Lehi; siblings, Gary (Lori) Laird, Highland; Linda (Brent) Norton, Santaquin; Ronald (Christine) Andersen, Payson; Sherrie (Sam) Hicks, Spanish Fork. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Randy Kay Laird.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, 2010, 11:00 a.m., in the Mtn. View 4th Ward Chapel, 681 East 500 North. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Wednesday, 6-8:00 p.m. or at the church Thursday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.

Jeffrey R. Hasara, 16, of 3725 Monarch Ave., Marion, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in his home with his family around him. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4300 Trailridge Rd. SE, where visitation will be at 3:30 p.m. Burial: Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah. Bishop Kent Schaerr will officiate. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, Mark and Valerie Hasara; his sister, Rachel L. Hasara; his brothers, Ryan A. Hasara of Mount Vernon, Washington, and John R. Hasara and Travis R. Hasara, both of Marion; his grandparents, Robert and Vickie Hasara of Provo, Utah, and Nathan and Marilyn Hill of Sandy, Utah.
Jeffrey was born November 24, 1993 in Okinawa, Japan, the son of Mark and Valerie Hill Hasara. He was a sophomore at Linn-Mar High School. He loved longboarding, surfing by the ocean and being with his friends. Jeffrey was tenderhearted and was more interested in helping his friends than doing his school work. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was active in his church and a strong believer in his God. Jeffrey was also active in Boy Scouts. His favorite thing was spending time with his family. He was a great friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

My Grandma Passed away this Sunday. We miss her very much.
Cora Blohm Shepherd
February 16, 1921 ~ August 1, 2010
Hometown: Spanish Fork, UT
Cora Blohm Shepherd, good and faithful servant, returned home Sunday, August 1, 2010.
Born February 16, 1921 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Charles and Christena Blohm.
She married Elmer LeRoy Shepherd on November 1, 1939 and they were sealed at the Manti Temple on December 8, 1954.
Cora was a steadfast and faithful member of the LDS Church and active Temple Worker at the Provo Temple. Mother was a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers and The American Legion and enjoyed the Senior Citizens in Spanish Fork. She worked for The Utah State Bookmobile Library until she retired.
Cora is survived by her sons, Carl (Shirley), Benjamin, Utah; Marvin (Shela), Spanish Fork, Utah; Wayne, Albemarle, North Carolina; Dale (Margaret), Tooele, Utah; Raymond (Beckie), Santaquin, Utah; 23 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; brother, Hugh Blohm; sisters, Anna Mann and Stella Buck; and three grandchildren.
A special thanks to Dr. Forbes and Rocky Mountain Hospice.
Viewing will be at the Walker Mortuary, 187 S. Main, Spanish Fork on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
A memorial to her life will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the 4th Ward Church, 381 East 400 North, in Spanish Fork.
Interment will be at Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

After the floor she did that run and jump thing. I took pictures of it but they didn't turn out well because we need a new camera so I just will leave them off. she did great with it though.
